🏋️♂️How much IFS should I know?
At this early phase in Refract's journey, we're only inviting people who have some experience with IFS, or who go through our cohort to learn Focusing + IFS + have a session with a human practitioner.
We recommend you:
Know the terminology
Feel you can self-regulate through big emotions coming up alone
Are able to ask questions of your body such that you at least occasionally are surprised by the answer
The IFS experience:

Discovering & reassuring protector parts
Discovering & reassuring resisting parts
Discovering & unburdening exiles
Choosing new roles for protector parts
We therefore recommend only using Refract if you have theoretical understanding of these steps as a minimum.
